Vegan option traditional food of Cyprus.

What a delight to find local food as it would be served in Cypriotic households.The flavours were very light, just simple home food with no frills.Prices were very reasonable and the waitress was very helpful in explaining the dishes in English.

A very good friend recommend that I check out this place while I’m in Nicosia.I must say that the experience here was incredible! Homemade food cooked by a father daughter team. Simplicity and Cypriot traditions that bring delicious dishes! You feel immersed in the 40 year history of the restaurant as you enjoy your meal in peace. Relax, there is zero pretentiousness.The owner and his daughter are both very welcoming and friendly. I really recommend NOT to miss this spot !

I found this place in the Nicosia map for visitors and I heard about its story from my room host, so I decided to have my breakfast there. The atmosphere was cosy and felt like home. The owner and his daughter were very welcoming and kind. They brought me a free desert after my delicious egg and haloumi meal :)

We went for lunch on a Wednesday and it was an hour before closing time so around 14:00; the restaurant was quite empty. We were really craving cypriot local cuisine ( we are cypriots but are living abroad for many years). The food offered is local food, like the food our grandma and aunts make at home so you really do get the local experience. We had fish served with purgouri(bulgur) and potatoes, octopus served with the same side dish and Ofto kleftiko ( lamb). It was delicious and had an authentic taste. We drank a soft drink each because that's how we always accompanied this type of food when we were little. The restaurant is quite warm in the summer because there is no air conditioning but there are fans on the ceiling. The restaurant looks like a typical local restaurant which sells homemade food. Both the lady who took our order and served our food and the older man who cooked the food were very polite and asked if everything is ok ; they even brought us papoutsosika ( cactus fig) for dessert. We will be coming back when visit Cyprus next time.

An amazing restaurant not many popular.The service is spectacular and the food tastes like your mother house.The meat is really nice.
